Welcome to CuanKard. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information. CuanKard is not affiliated with any bank, financial institution, or credit card network. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Account Information (Google Sign-In): When you sign in with Google, we receive your full name, email address, and Google profile picture. We do not receive your Google password, payment methods, or any other Google account data.
Financial Data You Enter: All financial data in CuanKard is entered by you — credit card details (bank name, card type, credit limit, billing date), transaction records (amount, date, merchant, category, notes), billing cycle records, asset records, and user preferences. This data is stored locally on your device using SQLite and optionally synced to your personal Firebase Firestore database.
Receipt Images (AI Scan Feature): When you use receipt scanning, the image is sent to Google Gemini AI for text extraction. We do not permanently store receipt images — the image is transmitted, processed, and discarded.
Automatically Collected Data: We do not collect analytics, crash logs, advertising identifiers, or device fingerprints. The App does not run any background analytics SDK.
We use your information only to operate CuanKard's features:
We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or sale to third parties.
Local Storage: Transaction records, credit card details, and asset entries are stored locally on your device using SQLite (via expo-sqlite). This data is not transmitted unless you are signed in and cloud sync is active.
Cloud Storage (Firebase Firestore): If you sign in with Google, your data is synchronised to your personal Google Firebase Firestore database, accessible only by your authenticated account.

Your data is retained as long as you maintain an active account. You can delete your account and all data at any time from the App's Account Settings screen. Upon deletion, your Firestore data is permanently deleted, local SQLite data is cleared, and Google Sign-In tokens are revoked.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: Access, Correction, Deletion, Portability, and Objection. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
App Permissions: INTERNET (for Google Sign-In and Firebase sync), CAMERA / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (optional, only for receipt scanning), POST_NOTIFICATIONS on Android 13+ (for bill reminders).
Children's Privacy: CuanKard is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Advertising: CuanKard does not display third-party advertisements and does not use advertising SDKs or tracking frameworks.

These Terms govern your use of the CuanKard mobile application, developed and operated by Jonathan Halim. By downloading, installing, or using CuanKard, you agree to be bound by these Terms. CuanKard is not a bank, financial institution, payment processor, or licensed financial advisor.
Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and use the App in compliance with all applicable laws.
Google Sign-In: CuanKard uses Google Sign-In for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and all activity that occurs under your account.
One Account Per User: Each Google account corresponds to one CuanKard account. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse the App.

Ownership: All financial data you enter into CuanKard belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over your personal financial data.
Accuracy: You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. CuanKard displays information based solely on what you input and does not verify it against any bank or third-party source.
Data Backup: If you are signed in, your data is synced to Firebase Firestore. We strongly recommend maintaining your own records of important financial information. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, account deletion, or service interruption.
AI-Assisted Features: CuanKard includes AI-powered features such as receipt scanning (via Google Gemini) and spending anomaly detection. These are convenience tools and may not always be accurate. AI-extracted data should be reviewed before saving. No AI feature in CuanKard constitutes financial advice.
Notifications: CuanKard sends local push notifications for bill due dates, scheduled entirely on your device. You can disable them at any time through device settings or within the App. We are not liable for missed payments arising from missed or disabled notifications.
CuanKard and all of its content — including the name, logo, design, code, and text — are owned by Jonathan Halim and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. This licence does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any part of the App.
No Financial Advice: CuanKard is a personal tracking tool only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
As-Is Basis: THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JONATHAN HALIM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR FINANCIAL LOSS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
By You: You may stop using the App at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from the Account Settings screen within the App.
By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if we decide to discontinue the App.
Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if unsuccessful, submitted to the courts of Indonesia.
Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the App. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
